April 2021 - Gold Goodness Challenge┃Inspiration Card

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a “Golden” inspiration card made using once again, Joyful Bouquet Washi Tape and Joyful Bouquet Die along with Ornate Banner Die Set, Modern Blooms Die, Artistic Bows Die Set and Curvy Leaves Die Set by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

This month Pinkfresh Challenge is all about gold so therefore, besides using the color palette inspired by the recent Washi Tape Release, I’ve added an extra touch of shine using Celebrate Hot Foil Plate and Celebrate Die from the latest March-2021 Cling Stamp, Stencil, Die & Hot Foil Release.

Therefore, to make this card, first I started by lining up Modern Blooms Die over a white card panel and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Thus, as soon as I’ve had finished die-cutting the intricate floral background, I went ahead to set it off aside so, I could continue with the die-cutting process.

That said, to keep going with the die-cutting process, I went ahead to die-cut a gold frame using both larger dies from Ornate Banner Die Set along with gold cardstock. Also, a few die-cutting curvy leaves out of translucent vellum and gold cardstock using dies from Curvy Leaves Die Set.

Last but not least, I went ahead to die cut the floral cluster out of Joyful Bouquet Washi Tape using its coordinating die from Joyful Bouquet Die as well as an artistic bow which I’ve also die-cut out of gold cardstock using one of the dies from Artistic Bows Die Set.

Moving on, for the card assembling, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue the golden ornate frame over the detailed floral background. Next, I fussy cut out the excess from the floral frame using a small pair of scissors. And, as soon as I’ve had done that, I’ve gone ahead to glue down the ornate layered background over an A2 top folding white card base.

Lastly, I created a floral cluster using the die-cutting curvy leaves and the die-cutting floral cluster which I’ve had die-cutting out of the washi tape. Then, to finalize the card, I went ahead to glue down the die-cutting bow and I’ve gotten mounted the Celebrate sentiment which I’ve had created using Celebrate Hot Foil Plate and Celebrate Die along with Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass, Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform plus Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Finally, as finishing touches, I went ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue some jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a touch of sparkle to it! And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Golden” inspiration card to play along with Pinkfresh Challenge .
