32 Birthday┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’m excited to share with you this girly trio of “Birthday” inspiration cards which I made for my niece’s 32nd birthday. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

To begin with, I started by creating a slimline birthday shaker card using Big Bold Numbers Dies, Balloon Bouquet Stamp Set, Big Balloons Die & Balloon Bouquet Die. Therefore, to create the card base first, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the smaller stitched die from Slim Stitched Rectangle Dies, and then I went ahead to run them through Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Thus, right after that I’ve had added the stitched details to it, I’ve gone ahead to get mounted the card panel with craft foam to add dimension over a slimline white card base.

Once, I had the card base completed, I went ahead to stamp layering some floral balloons using, Balloon Bouquet Stamp Set along with an array of the TSM Inks. So, as soon as I’ve had finished the stamping for the balloons, I’ve gone ahead to use the large die from Big Balloons Die to die-cut each stamped balloon and then I’ve gotten 2 of them mounted to the card. Up next, I created the shakers numbers by using the number 2 and 3 from Big Bold Numbers Dies.

So, after I’ve had finished creating the shaker numbers, I’ve gone ahead to embellish the balloons by adding piece of metallic thread to the balloons and then, I’ve gotten the balloon mounted to card (as shown in the image above) Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to stamp, gold heat emboss a sub-sentiment plus stamp, gold heat emboss and die-cut a sentiment using sentiments from Birthday Blooms Stamp Set along with Birthday Blooms Die which happens to be its coordinating die set.

For the second card I created an A2 size card so therefore, I went ahead to line up the largest die from Crimped Frame Die. And, as soon as I’ve had finish die-cutting the detailed frame, I’ve gone ahead to glue down (as shown in the image above) with liquid glue one of the smaller balloons from the set as well as one of the stamped large balloons which I’ve gotten mounting with square foam adhesives to add a bit of dimension.

Next, I added the die-cutting strings to the balloons and then I’ve gotten mounted a Happy sentiment which I’ve had previously stamped, gold heat embossing and die-cut out of a piece of white cardstock using Opposites Attract Stamp Set and Opposites Attract Die.

Lastly, I went ahead to complement the Happy die-cutting sentiment by stamping and gold heat embossing a sub-sentiment with a different font from the same stamp set. And, as soon as I’ve gotten that step done, I’ve gone ahead to mount with craft foam the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base to add dimension. And, as finishing touches, I’ve also gotten glue down here and there with liquid glue some jewels from Essentials: Jewel Mix to add a pop of shine!

For the third and last example, I made a clean and simple shaker card so therefore, I started by creating the card base along with a dimensional card panel in the same way as I did for the previous example.

Up next, I created a die-cutting detailed frame out of white cardstock using the medium and small die from Crimped Frame Die, and once I’ve had die-cut it out of the white cardstock, I’ve gone ahead to turn it into a shaker frame.

Thus, after I’ve finished creating the shaker frame, I’ve gone ahead to get it mounted over the card base. Then, I’ve gotten the card embellished by mounting one of the birthday balloons on which I’ve had previously stamped and gold heat emboss over a sentiment. Besides that, I’ve also got mounted a sentiment which, I’ve gotten stamped and gold heat emboss on a strip of white cardstock. Last but not least, as a finishing touch, I’ve also added a piece of embroidery metallic gold thread to use it as balloon curling ribbon.
