WOW Embossing Powder & Pink and Main Collaboration Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to WOW Embossing Powder and Pink & Main collaboration Blog Hop! Today I am truly honored to be part of such an amazing blog hop collaboration. If you have arrived from Tracy’s Blog, then you are right on track. Your next stop will be Zsofia’s Blog. Down below I’ve post a complete list of all participants along with the detailed information for this giveaway! So for the cards that I’m sharing today. I stuck with a Christmas theme as we are getting closer to the holidays. I love adding shine and sparkle to every card, but for the Christmas even more. So let me give you the list of the products that I used for these simple cards.
Here are the cards
For my first example, I started by heat embossing the Christmas Script on a white card panel with the embossing pad and the WOW Metallic Platinum Sparkle as you can see in the picture above. Then, I heat embossed the tree branch from the stamp set in all four of the panel. Once I was done heat embossing the branches, I repeated the same process but this time using the ornaments from the stamp set covering the white spaces. Before adhering the panel to the card base I used as embellishment a few strings of rose gold thread by going around a few times. Then to finish it up I adhered the card panel to a kraft card base and I tied a bow with the same thread and I added a little sequin in the middle of the bow.
For the second example I basically did almost the same thing as the first card. Although I changed a few things. For this card I used the cardstocks in the opposite ways. As I started by heat embossing the tree branches with WOW Diamond White Embossing Glitter on kraft cardstock. You can see I also skipped the ornaments but I added an extra sentiment underneath the Christmas Script that I had heat embossed along with the extra sentiment with WOW Opaque Bright White embossing powder. To finished the card up I added a few sequins around the script and I adhered the backed of the card panel to the card base.
For the third and last example, I completely changed the look from the previous card. As I created something even simpler. For this card I water colored the whole background of the card panel with champagne metallic watercolor. In the meantime while the background was drying out I heat embossed a few ornaments with WOW Metallic Gold Sparkle. Then I also water colored them with a mix of champagne and gold colors. By the time that I was done watercoloring the ornaments my water colored panel was already dried out. So I set the ornaments aside and I gold heat embossed one of the sentiments right in the middle of the background. Once the ornaments were dried out I fussy cut them and I adhered on the back of them foam mounting tape to create dimension. But before that I used strings of gold thread as if they were hanging from the top and I adhered them to the card panel in different levels. To finished the card up I adhered the card panel to a white card base and I tied little bows to every ornament and a few gold sequins around them.
