WOW! Glitter/Glintz Challenge, Thank you Card
Happy Monday, Friends! It’s week 2 for February’s Embossing Glitters/Glintz challenge over at the WOW! Embossing Powders Facebook Page. So, on today’s blog I’ll be sharing with you this Thank you card that, I’ve made featuring Sparkling Sand embossing glitter from the new; WOW! Trio Dockside *Jo Firth-Young* along with WOW! In order to participate all you need to do is ➝ follow the WOW! Embossing Powder Monthly Challenge theme as an inspiration to create one of the followings for your submissions:

Or any type of paper crafting project/mixed media of your preference that features any WOW! Embossing Powder product of your choice. Submissions must be entering by February 29th at 9PM PST. (Please do not enter more than 3 entries per person) Without further ado, let’s jump into the blog below ↓
To begin with, I started by running through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine the largest die from the Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to create the details on the edges of the white card panel.
Once I had the card panel done, I foam mounted it to an A2 top folding white card base and I set the card base aside.
Next, I entirely coated with WOW! Embossing Ink an A2 white card panel because, I needed a sticky surface to add WOW! Rose Glintz embossing powder. Once, I had the sticky surface and the powder was added, I heat set the card panel until the powder was completely melted. Then, I create my own glitter cardstock so, to do that I coated a large piece of white cardstock with embossing ink and I glitter embossed it with Sparkling Sand glitter embossing which by the way is part of the; WOW! Trio Dockside *Jo Firth-Young*.
Right after, when I’ve finished with the heat embossing on the card panel and cardstock. I created the die-cutting pieces so, I ran through the die-cutting machine the card panel along with the Ready to Bloom Card Cover Die to die-cut the flowers 1X out white cardstock and 1X out the heat embossed Rose Glintz card panel. Then, I ran through the die-cutting machine the piece of glitter cardstock that I created earlier along with the top layer of the Handwritten Thanks Die.
To assemble the card, first; I carefully adhered the white flower die-cutting pieces to the card base. Second; I foam mounted with small pieces of foam mounting tape the Rose Glintz flowers for a 3D effect. Third; I ran through the die-cutting machine the shadow layer from the Handwritten Thanks Die to die-cut it out of vellum. Lastly, I stacked both layers from the Thank you die-cutting and I adhered them with liquid glue on top of the flowers as show above.
Finally, to finish the card off, I adhered with liquid glue a jewel from the Essentials: Jewels Mix in the center of each flower adding that way lots of sparkle.
