To begin with, I started by transferring one of the doodle bouquet from my sketch book over a Strathmore Watercolor Card Panel. Next, I added lots and lots of Embossing Tool Powder to it and I traced over once again the doddle bouquet, but this time using the WOW! Embossing Pen. Once I was done tracing the doddle over with the embossing pen, I moved on and I added WOW! Metallic Platinum and last but not least, I finished the heat embossing powder using my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool.

So, right after when I was done heat embossing the doddle bouquet, I colored in the buds and greenery with a light wash of Peach, Orange and Green watercolor hues that I created using my Derwent Intense Watercolor Set. And, to add a touch of gold, I added a few gold splatters using the No.902 from my Starry Colors. Then, to make the greenery and the buds pop, I added a light Pink hue to the entire card panel. Therefore, after I was done water-coloring in the card panel, I set it aside to dry and I moved on to create the translucent tied bow.

So, to create the translucent tied bow, I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine a large piece of Translucent Vellum along with one out of the 2 fabulous dies from the Artistic Bow Die Set to die-cut the pieces. Once, I’ve got all the translucent die-cutting pieces done, I assembled the translucent tied bow and I set it aside. Meanwhile, I trimmed down the edges of the card panel a bit smaller than the card base, and I mounted it to a 5X7 side folding white card base so, after I was done mounting the card panel to the card base, I glued down with liquid glue the translucent tied bow to the doodled bouquet followed for a sentiment which I had heat embossed on a piece of watercolor cardstock and mounted to an larger piece of glitter cardstock.
NOTE: The sentiments is part of the Modern Layered Floral Stamp.

Lastly, after the sentiment and the tied bow was added to the card, I decided to trim with my paper trimmer skinny 2 strips of the same glitter cardstock that I used to stack the sentiment, and I glued them down (as shown in the image above) with liquid glue to the left side of the card. Then, to finish the card off, I glued down with liquid glue here and there gold jewels, and to add sparkle I covered the water-coloring with Nuvo Aqua Shimmer Pen and I added Glossy Accent to the buds for an extra shiny dimensional look. With that said, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created today’s “Doodle Bouquet” card. As always, I appreciate the time that takes you to read my blog posts.
