To begin with, I started by temporally adhering an A2 size white card panel inside of my stamping tool. Next, I lined up over the card panel the Chevron Background Stamp, and once they both were line up I picked up the background stamp with the stamping tool door, and I popped out each chevron piece from the background stamp except from the smaller one and frame.

Therefore, after the smaller section and frame were into place, I started the stamping using; Blush Pink Ink and then WOW! Embossing Ink. As you can see, after I was done stamping each chevron section over the card panel, I’ve got it removed from the stamping tool and I covered the sticky surface created by the embossing ink with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich. So, after I had the chevron section covered with the embossing powder, I removed the excess powder from the card panel and I heat set the powder with my WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool until it got completely melted.

Moving along, after the card panel was cool down from the heat embossing, I lined up over the card panel the largest die from the Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set, and I ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to add the stitched detail to the frame. Right after that, I mounted the card panel with craft foam and double-sided tape to an A2 top folding card base, and I’ve gone ahead to get the assembling done.

For the assembling, I’ve got glued down with liquid glue an envelope and an artistic bow that. I had created out of white cardstock and translucent vellum using; Leafy Envelope Die and Artistic Bows Die sets. Then, I’ve got glue down some die-cutting butterflies that were created using white cardstock and Flickering Butterflies Wafer Die. Lastly, I’ve got adhered down here and there with liquid glue some of the jewels from my Essentials: Jewels Mix for a touch of sparkle, and finally to finish the card off, I’ve gotten the sentiment stamp and gold heat embossing a sentiment on the bottom right corner of the envelope. That said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step by step on how I’ve created the “Chevron Pattern” for this card. As always, I appreciate the time that takes you to read my blog posts.
