To create the card panel first, I started by placing an A2 size white card panel over a large piece of craft foam because, I wanted to have a cushion surface as I was going to stamp with an acrylic block. Second, I added lots of Embossing Powder Tool over the card panel to remove any static and oils from my fingers because, I was going to stamp with WOW! Embossing Ink Pad.

So, after I was done prepping the card panel, I placed over 2 long acrylic blocks the top and bottom scallop stamps from the Scallop Background Builder Stamp, To create the pattern for the card panel, I started to stamp the top scallop image. Once, I stampeded it, I added my first embossing powder color which in this case is WOW! Love is the Drug. Since I started with Pinks after I was done heat embossing the first images, I continued by stamping the bottom image of the scallop, and heat embossed it with WOW! Pink Sherbert. By the way, I did this in sections because, I was going to heat emboss every single stamping with a different powder embossing color.

Therefore, after my first scallop section was finished, I kept going so on and so forth with the rest of the colors in the order mentioned at the beginning on this post.

As you can see in the image above, right after I was done creating the pattern for the card panel, I ended up with not a perfect heat embossing look, yet a full distress look due some of the embossing powders were; Glitters some were; Opaque and others just Regular, So, if you don’t like the distress look, I’d recommend to keep it with 1 texture instead of mixing more than one. Moving on, after the card panel was completely done, I trimmed the edges down from it, and I mounted it with craft foam and double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Then, I set the card aside and I proceeded to make the sentiment for the card.

To create the sentiment first, I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut it 4X out White cardstock and 1X out of Gold cardstock. This die also has a shadow layer so, I die-cut its shadow out of translucent vellum. Lastly, after I was done with the die-cutting pieces, I stacked them all and I adhered the dimensional Hey die-cutting to the card base with liquid glue.

Finally, to finish the card off, I adhered down with foam mounting tape a sentiment that I had previously gold heat embossed with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich on a piece of white cardstock. Then, as a finishing touch, I adhered here and there some of the Crystal Confetti liquid glue for an extra shiny look.
