If…you live in U.S, you might be waiting as much as, I do for Fall season to begin, as well as Thanksgiving Holiday! This treat bags are a good option to make as you can stuff them with little treats to give thanks to family members and friends. But, if… this isn’t your case because, you don’t live in U.S nor have Thanksgiving coming your way. Then, you can still make these Kraft treat bags for any special occasion by simply changing their embellishments and sentiment.
So, Let’s get started! First, I went to Michael’s and, I purchased 1 pack of Treat Kraft Bags, 1 bag of those little Maple Leaves, 1 Roll of Narrow Ribbon and 1 bag of little Clothespins.

Besides the supplies from Michael’s, I decided to incorporate the Thank you die and two large pieces of Olive Burlap String.

Once, I had all my supplies together, I started to embellish the treat bags. So, I started by adding a touch of sparkle to the Maple Leaves using WOW! Embossing Ink and WOW! Clear Sparkle embossing powder. Once the leaves were completely covered with the sparkly powder, I heat set them with the WOW! Heat Embossing Gun Tool until the powder was completely melted, and I set them aside. In the meantime, I ran through the die-cutting machine the shadow layer from the die to die-cut it out of Translucent Vellum as well as its top layer to die-cut it out of white card stock 3X because, I wanted a study top layer so, it could resist the glitter heat embossing.

Right after when, I was done with the die-cutting pieces. I stacked together the 3 layers of the white Thank you die-cuttings creating that way a sturdy die-cutting piece and, I glitter heat embossed it with WOW! Metallic Copper Sparkle. Once, the Thank you was heat set it, I adhered the backing of it to, its shadow layer with liquid glue, and I set it aside.

Lastly, before adhering anything to the bags, I decided where the folds where going to be placed so, I could adhere the embellishments as, I wanted that, my recipients were able to open, and get wherever I decided to put inside without taking apart the embellishments. So, for that I adhered the Narrow Ribbon with double-sided tape just to the front part of the bags. Then, I adhered the glittery Maple Leaves on one side of the bags as, well as the bows that, I had created out of the Olive Burlap Strings. To finish the treat bags off, I adhered the backing of the Thank you on each of the bottom parts of the treat bags, as you can see in the picture above. Well friends, that’s all I have for today. I really hope that, these treat bags inspire you to give them and the “DIY Embellishments” a try! As always, I appreciate the time you take to read my blog posts.
