Wild Flower Sketches Frame & Card

Hi, Friends! I hope you’re having a fabulous Weekend! Today, I’ll be sharing with you this 5x7 frame and an A2 standard size card that, I’ve created using; Wild Flower Sketches Stamp Set & Wild Flower Sketches Die Set by Pinkfresh Studio. So, without further ado, please keep on reading below ↓

To begin with, I started by stamping on a large piece of white cardstock all flowers from the Wild Flower Sketches Stamp Set in different color inks. The inks that used are also by Pinkfresh Studio. However, if you decide to re-create this idea, you’re most welcome to use what you have on hand, and colors of you preference. But, to give you an idea here are the colors that I’ve used for today’s flowers; Lemon Whip Ink Pad, Peach Fuzz Ink Pad, Apricot Ink Pad, Coral Reef Ink Pad, Passion Fruit Ink Pad, Ballet Slipper Ink Pad.

For the stems and greenery, I used; Olive Ink Pad and Key Lime Ink Pad. Once, I had the stamping done, I went ahead and run through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine every single stamped images along with their coordinated die to cut them out of the white cardstock.

Right after when my die-cutting process was done, I adhered the flowers to the stems and I set all my die-cutting pieces aside. In the meanwhile, I created out white cardstock the insert for the frame. The insert measures; W 4-1/4 x H 6-3/4 in. As soon as, I was done trimming the edges, I decided to add a subtle cloudy sky. To create the sky, I used; Ocean Breeze Ink Pad along with Cloud Stencil once, I had the insert inked up, I removed the glass from the frame, and I placed the inked insert inside like if I was placing a picture. Without having the glass put into its place, I tuned the frame facing upwards, and I adhered the flowers and greenery (as shown above) Some of them with liquid glue, and some with tiny pieces of foam mounting tape to add a bit of dimension. Lastly, I carefully removed the insert from the frame, and I gold heat-embossed a sentiment in the lower right corner. Finally, after the heat embossing, I placed back into the frame my own hand-stamped picture.

As for the card, I inked up a standard size A2 white card panel in the same was as I did for the frame insert. Once, the white card panel was inked up, I ran it through the die-cutting machine along with the largest die from the Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Die to create a little detail on the edges. And… soon after that, to make it simple, I gold heat-embossed the same sentiment in the right exact place as I did for the frame.

Lastly, I foam mounted the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base, and I adhered the flowers and greenery. Same as I did for the frame some are foam mounted for dimension. Finally, to finish the card off, I added a few Crystal Confetti here and there to add a touch of shine.
