Waffle Flower Tulips Greeting Card

Waffle Flower Tulips Greeting Card

Happy Saturday, Friends! Today, I’m back sharing with you the last card that, I’ve created with the new; Floral Bundle from the; March-2020 Release by Waffle Flower. So, for today’s card I used once again the Oversized Hello Combo along with the Tulips Combo With that being said, please keep on reading below ↓

To begin with, I started by placing inside my stamping tool a Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor Paper card panel. Next, I placed over the watercolor card panel the 2-Tulip stamp images from the; Tulips Stamp Set, and I picked them up with the stamping tool door. Then, I added lots of Embossing Powder Tool to the card panel, and right after that, I stamped the 2 Tulips with Embossing Ink over the card panel.

Once, the Tulips were stamped, I removed the card panel out of the stamping tool, and I stamped a second card panel. So therefore, when both card panels were stamped, I gold heat embossed the 4 Tulip images with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder.

Soon after when the gold heat embossing process was done, I placed on my Mini Media Mat one of the watercolor card panel because, I was going to watercolor the images using a mix of colors that I previously mixed from my watercolor palette. So, after I was done water-coloring the first card panel, I set it aside to dry, and I proceeded to watercolor the second watercolor card panel.

While both card panels were drying, I ran through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine the Oversized Hello Word Die to die-cut it 1X out of gold cardstock and 2X out white cardstock. Once the hello die-cutting pieces were done, I staked the whites pieces, and I offset the gold leaving a white shadowing on the left side.

Moving forward after creating the dimensional hello, I set it aside and I gold heat embossed it with Metallic Gold Rich Embossing Powder the Sweetheart sentiment on a piece of white cardstock (the Sweetheart sentiment is from the Oversized Hello Stamp Set in case you wonder) To keep moving after having the sentiments and my water-coloring done, I created the background. So, to create the background for the card, I made my own pattern by white heat embossing the tulips from the stamp set 4X on a white card panel.

Therefore, after my pattern was created and white heat embossed on the white card panel, I trimmed the edges off from it, and I adhered it down with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Lastly, I came back to the water-coloring and I ran the Tulip images along with their coordinated dies to die-cut them out of the watercolor cardstock. Then, I adhered down with liquid glue the Pink and Peach tulip images to the card base as shown in the image above. As for the one in the middle, I adhered it down with dimensional adhesive for a very dimensional look. Finally, to finish the card off, I added the oversized hello die-cutting to the card by adhering parts of it with dimensional adhesive and parts with liquid glue. Last but not least, I adhered the sweetheart sentiment on the right side of the hello, and I glued down a few Crystal Confetti here and there to add an extra sparkly look.
