The Stamp Market┃Fa La La Inspiration Card

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this “Fa La La” Christmas inspiration card with a fancy and delicate fold, I made using some holiday stamps and dies from “Merry & Magical” release by The Stamp Market. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by creating the card base, so to do that, I went ahead to trim off the front flap of an A2 size side folding white card base to W 3-1/4” inches, leaving it that way smaller than the bottom flap. Next, I went ahead to create the inside fun card folding, so to do that, I went ahead to trim off a piece of acetate to H 4-1/2” x W 7.0” inches. Then, I placed the large piece of acetate over my Scoring Board tool and once I had that step done, I’ve gone ahead to score a line at the 3-1/2” inches mark. Lastly, I went ahead to fold it over and then, I put them off to the side to get the stamping for the card backgrounds.

Thus, for the card backgrounds I went ahead to place inside my MISTI Stamping Tool an A2 size card panel. A card panel which I’ve had previously trimmed off out of a Blush colored cardstock. So, once I had the card panel placed onto place inside my stamping tool, I went ahead to line up over it the Fa La La Background Stamp. Next, I added lots of embossing powder tool to it, and then I went ahead to get the background stamped over it using embossing ink. Once, I’ve had finished the stamping over the card panel, I went ahead to add white embossing powder over the stamping, and last but not least, I’ve got the embossing powder heat set using my heat embossing gun tool.

Once, I’ve got the first card panel stamped and heat embossing with white embossing powder, I went ahead to repeat the same steps over a second card panel. Therefore, after having both card panels stamped and heat embossing, I went ahead to trim off the edges to one of them to H 5-1/4” x W 3.0” inches and the other to H 5-1/4” x W 4.0” inches. Then, soon after that I’ve got them trimmed off, I’ve gone ahead to get them adhered using double-sided adhesive to the front flap and the inside flap of the card base for a continuous background pattern look.

Then, as soon as I’ve had finished adhering both panels to the card, I went ahead to adhere the acetate panel as well, which I’ve had previously scored in half right in the center of the inside panel of the card using double-sided adhesive. Due the translucently of the acetate, I went ahead to trim off a white card panel to H 4.0” x W 3-1/4” inches, and once I’ve got that step completed, I’ve gone ahead to get it adhere down over the acetate first, to cover the adhesive and second, to add a blank space where to add a writing card message.

Moving on, right after that I’ve gotten the steps for the card base completed, I’ve gone ahead to put the card base off to the side to start the focal point assembling. Therefore, for the focal point I used the Fa La La Die to die-cut the word once out of Diamond glitter and once out Gold cardstocks + 5 times out of White cardstock. Having that said, I went ahead to stack the gold along with 4 white die-cutting words for a sturdy dimensional look.

Next, I went ahead to glue down the gold sturdy die-cutting word a little offset to the right side over the glittery die-cutting word using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to create a glittery shadow to it.

Lastly, to add a little festive and greenery touch to the card, I went ahead to die cut a few leaves and berries out of Curry, Leafy and Gold cardstock using some of the dies including in Winter Wreath Maker Dies.

And, once I’ve gotten the greenery die-cutting finished, I’ve gone ahead to glue down the dimensional die-cutting word over the front flap of the acetate panel and then once I’ve gotten it glued down, I went ahead to glue down the greenery behind the die-cutting word (as shown in the image above.) Then, once again due the translucently of the acetate, I went ahead to cover the adhesive residue from the die-cutting greenery by adhering the last white die-cutting word that I had left from behind the acetate for the greenery could show up through without the adhesive.

Finally, in the image above you can appreciate how dimensional and fun the card looks like from the top view.

As a finishing touch, I’ve gotten glue down here and there some crystal confetti to add an extra touch of shine to the card along with a dimensional die-cutting sentiment which I’ve got previously stamped and die cut out of white cardstock using one of the sentiments and dies including in Merry & Magical Stamp and Merry & Magical Dies. And with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Fa La La” Christmas inspiration card with a fancy and delicate fold, using some holiday stamps and dies from “Merry & Magical” release by The Stamp Market.
