Without further ado keep on reading the blog, as I’ll be sharing the three cards that I made featuring Spectacular Memories Stamp Set & Stars on the Border Die + WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale & WOW! See You At The Beach Trio.

For the first card, I started by creating my own glittery card stock so what I did was to inked up a piece of white card stock big enough to die-cut the stars with the Stars on the Border Die, I repeated this step 3 times as I wanted 3 different glitter card stock colors. The embossing glitters that I used were Sea Mist, and Sea Salt from the WOW! See You At The Beach Trio + WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale. Once the pieces of card stock were glitter embossed, I ran though the die-cutting machine each of them along with the Stars on the Border die to die-cut the stars. Next, I ran once again through the die-cutting machine the die along with a white card panel to die-cut the edge of the card panel as you can see in the picture above. Then, I adhered the backing of the die-cutting edge panel to a white card panel with double-sided tape, and I inlaid the stars to the border interchanging the colors. Right after, I gold heat embossed a sentiment from the Spectacular Memories Stamp Set with WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale. Lastly, I trimmed the edges of the card panel a little bit smaller than a standard A2 size card, and I adhered the backing of it to an A2 top folding white card base with foam mounting tape to add a little dimension.

For the second card, I used all the leftover stars from the previous die-cutting. So, to begin with I started by adhering each of the stars with liquid glue to a white card panel creating a pattern. Then, I gold heat embossed another sentiment from the same stamp set with the same gold embossing powder on one of the lower sides of the card as you can see in the picture above. And as soon as I was done with the card panel, I trimmed the edges down a bit, and I adhered it to an A2 size top folding white card base. Lastly, I adhered crystal sequins here and there for an extra sparkly touch.

For the last card, I created my own heat embossed background by repeatedly stamping one of the firework images from the Spectacular Memories Stamp Set with embossing ink. Right after the stamping, I carefully applied the three embossing powders from the WOW! See You At The Beach Trio creating a gradient background look as you can see in the picture above. Then, I trimmed the edges of the card panel, and I embellish the centers of each firework by adhering gold sequins, and a piece of gold thread right in the center of the card panel. Lastly, I gold heat embossed a sentiment, and I used one of the Essential Stitched Labels Crafting Dies to die-cut the sentiments. To finish the card off, I adhered the backing of the sentiment to the center of the card panel right were the thread was, and I adhered the backing of the card panel to an A2 top folding white card base with double-sided tape.
