Spellbinders MAR-2021 DOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this “Spring has Sprung” inspiration card made showcasing the latest MAR-2021 “Spring Flowers Card Creator” Small Die of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

To begin with, I started by creating the die-cutting card panel for the card so therefore, I went ahead to line up the corner die from the set over a small piece of light green cardstock and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Thus, as soon as I’ve had finished die-cutting the first corner for the card panel, I went ahead to repeat the same step 3 more times for the 4 corners. Next, I went to set them off to the side and then, I went ahead to die-cut in the same way and from the same color cardstock both sides for the card using the small die including in the set.

Right after, that I had all die-cutting pieces finished, I kept going to connect them all and once I had finished doing that, I went ahead to get them glue down with liquid glue over a slightly smaller than an A2 size card panel which, I’ve had previously ink up using an ink blending brush along with Sea Glass Ink color ink.

Moving on, right after that I’ve had finished gluing down the die-cutting background over the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to adhere the backing of it with double-sided tape to an A2 top folding white card base. Nevertheless, as soon as I’ve gotten the card panel adhered to the card base, I’ve gone ahead to get the card embellished by gluing down small flowers and jewels following the die-cutting card panel design.
NOTE: The small die-cutting flowers were die cut out different color cardstocks using, one of the smaller floral bits dies included in the set.

Last but not least, to finish the card off, I went ahead to get glue down with liquid glue the dimensional die-cutting sentiment in the center of the card. Sentiment, which I’ve had previously die-cut out of white and gold cardstock and stacked to add a bit of dimension. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Spring has Sprung” inspiration card showcasing the latest “Spring Flowers Card Creator” Small Die of the Month by Spellbinders.
