Spellbinders FEB-2021 DOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Tuesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this “Textured & Intricate” card made showcasing the latest FEB-2021 “Trefoil Tile & Panel Card Creator” Small Die of the Month by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made them ↓

To begin with, I started by creating the heat embossing card panel background so therefore, to do that I placed one of the trefoil stamp image from Clear Stamp of the Month Club over an acrylic block and then, I went ahead to get the stamping done over the colored card panel using embossing ink many times until I fully covered it. Thus, as soon as I’ve gotten the stamping done over it, I went ahead to add textured to it by white heat embossing with white embossing powder.

So therefore, right after that I had added the heat embossing texture to the card panel, I went ahead to trim off the edges of it and then, I’ve gotten it adhere to an A2 side folding white card base. Soon after that, I went ahead to set it off aside while I started the die-cutting pieces using the awesome dies from this month’s Small Die of the Month Club Kit. That said, I went ahead to line up the strip detailed die from the kit over a large piece of white cardstock and then, I ran them thru my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Once, I had that step done, I went ahead to glue down the detailed die-cut piece over a large piece of white cardstock and last but not least, I trimmed off the edges of it and then, I’ve gotten it mount with craft mounting tape right in the center of the card base to add a bit of dimension to it.

Lastly, I line up once of the rim dies along with one of the insert dies over a piece of colored cardstock and I ran them thru my die-cutting machine repeating this step 3 times. Nevertheless, I went ahead to get them glue down with liquid glue over the card panel following the pattern from the die-cutting strip and last but not least, I went ahead to embellish it by gluing down some butterflies which I had previously die-cut and fussy cut using a small pair of scissors out of gold cardstock using the same insert die.

Finally, to finish the card off I went ahead to embellish it by gluing down with liquid glue two layered flowers which I had previously die-cut out of pink color cardstock using the flower dies included on last month’s Large Die of the Month Club Kit. And also, by gluing down a few pink jewels and by mounting a sentiment which I had also stamp and heat gold embossing on a piece of white cardstock using one of the sentiments included in this month’s Clear Stamp of the Month Club Kit. With that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Textured & Intricate” card showcasing the latest “Trefoil Tile & Panel Card Creator” Small Die of the Month by Spellbinders.
