Spellbinders DOML FEB-2023┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this delicate and intricate thank you inspirational card made with a “floral” look showcasing the latest: "Spring Reflection" FEB-2023 Large Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado, let’s jump right into the step-by-step on how I made it ↓

Therefore, I went ahead to choose one of the pattern’s inserts included in the kit, and then I got it lined up over a large piece of white cardstock. Next, I proceeded to run them thru the Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, and then I repeated the same steps a few more times to die-cut the same pattern’s insert also from white cardstock to have both sides of the detailed card background, and also to add dimension to each of them.

Thus, after finishing the die-cutting process for the card background, I went ahead to layer them over to add the desired dimension. Then, right after that, I added dimension to them I proceeded to get the backing of each of them glued down over an A2 size top folding white card base in such a way that you can see in the image above.

So, as soon as I had finished adding the detailed card background to its card base, I went ahead to set it aside so I could continue with the die-cutting process for the floral focal point. So, for the floral focal point, I proceeded to use each die included in the kit to get the die-cutting swags cut out of green cardstock, the large and small flowers out of light and dark pink cardstock plus, out of light and dark yellow cardstock.

Nevertheless, after getting the die-cutting done for them, I went ahead to use the oval shape die to cut out the shape from white cardstock. Thereafter, as soon as I got that done, I added pieces of craft foam adhesive to the back of the die-cutting oval shape to add dimension, and then I got it inlaid to the card background. Next, I went ahead to glued down the swags, and then I got glued down the flowers by following the design from each swag.

Lastly, after getting all pieces glued down for the floral focal point, I got the card finished off by adding its die-cutting sentiment mounted right in the center part of the floral focal point; a sentiment, which I got previously die-cut out of gold cardstock using the shaped die and one of the inserts that are included in the kit. Nevertheless, I also went ahead to add a touch of sparkle to the card, so to do that, I went ahead to use Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue and the Jewels Picker to get gluing down some gold jewels in the flower’s centers.

And, with that being said friends I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this delicate and intricate thank you card inspiration with a “floral” look showcasing the latest: "Spring Reflection" FEB-2023 Large Die of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
