Spellbinders CSOM + CDOM AUG-2022┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an inspiration set of cards with a “Colorful & Floral” look featuring: "Perfect Floral Bloom" AUG-2022 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club. Along with this month’s clear stamp & die of the month club, I used Small Die of the Month Club and Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club all by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

Therefore, to make the stamping process easier, I went ahead to use each die included in the club along with my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out a few times each floral and greenery image from white cardstock. Next, to make it ever simpler for the stamping process, I went ahead to place the negative cardstock piece from the die-cutting inside my MISTI Stamp Tool and then, I proceeded to inlaid the die-cutting pieces in place and then, I went ahead to line up over them the coordinating stamp images.

Once, I had them line up, I proceeded to get the die-cutting pieces stamped using Pinks, Orange, Greens, and Brown hues for a summery floral look. Thus, as soon as, I had gotten finished the stamping process, I went ahead to put them aside to get one of the card sentiments stamped and gold heat emboss in the center of one A2 size white card panel using one of the sentiments included in the stamp set along with VersaMark Ink Pad, Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded, Inkadinkado Embossing Powder Tool, and Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool.

That being said, after getting the card sentiment stamped and heated embossing in the center of the card panel, I proceeded to trim off 1/4 of an inch from each side of it and then, I created a floral frame over the card panel using the die-cutting and stamped pieces. Then, I got its backing adhered to an A2 size top folding white card base. And, last but certainly not least to finish the card off, I went ahead to used my Jewels Picker along with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of the Aura Opalescent Color Essentials Sequins adding that way a little touch of sparkle to the card.

A difference of the previous example, to make the second example, I created a half floral frame in the lower side of the card panel; a card panel on which by the way, I had previously added a dainty hot foil stamped frame using the large glimmer plate included in Essential Duo Lines Glimmer Rectangles Glimmer Hot Foil Plate along with a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Gold also, by using both Glimmer Hot Foil System and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine for the hot foil stamping process.

That being said, after adding the dimensional half frame look to the card panel, I went ahead to get the backing of the card panel adhered to an A2 size top folding white card base and the, I added a layered and die-cutting sentiment. A die-cutting sentiment that I cut out from pieces of white and gold cardstock using one of the dies included in this month’s Small Die of the Month Club. Last but not least, to finish the card off, I went ahead to add the card a little touch of shine by getting glue down here and there some of the same sequins that I used for the previous example.

For the last example, I went ahead to create a quick and simple yet textured card. So, to do that, I went ahead to add texture to the front card panel using month’s Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club. Next, I got trim off the edges of the textured card panel 1/4 of an inch smaller than the card base using my Paper Trimmer and then, I got its backing adhered with Clear Double Sided Adhesive over an A2 size top folding white card base.

Moving on, I created a dimensional floral cluster over the right side of the card using the leftover die-cutting pieces and then, I got the card finish off by adding its dimensional sentiment along with some of the sequins to add this example an extra touch of shine as well.

And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this set of cards with a “Colorful & Floral” look featuring: "Perfect Floral Bloom" AUG-2022 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month Club along with this month’s Small Die of the Month Club and Embossing Folder Kit of the Month Club by Spellbinders.
