Spellbinders APR-2021 GOM┃Inspiration Card

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog I’d like to share with you a “Birthday” inspiration card made using the newest “Curved Glimmer Border & Sentiments” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

This month the glimmer club includes 3 gorgeous, curved glimmer plates, 2 curved edge dies and 3 curved sentiments that fit perfectly over the curved designs. Therefore, to begin with as per usual with every hot foil kit club of the month, I started by setting up my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine over my Crafter's Essential Cutting and Alignment Mat. Then, I went ahead to turn on the glimmer hot foil platform. And, while my platform was heating up, I went ahead to line up over a white card panel one the curved glimmer plates.

Once, I had the glimmer plate line up over the white card panel, I went ahead to cut a large piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass using the Quick Trimmer. So, as soon as the glimmer hot foil platform was ready to foil, I went ahead to get the white cardstock panel foiled by running the platform through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

Thus, soon after that I’ve had the foiling done over the card panel, I went ahead to line up the Happy Birthday curved sentiment over the previous foiling and once I’ve had it that step done, I’ve also gone ahead to get it foiled using the same glimmer foil color.

Moving on, right after that I’ve had finished the foiling over the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to line up over the bottom edge from the foiling one of the curved dies and then I’ve gone ahead to run them through the die-cutting machine adding that way a curved detailed scalloped edge to it. Lastly, I’ve gone ahead to adhere the detailed card panel with double-sided tape to another white card panel on which I’ve had scoring 1/4’’ of an inch to create a hinge so the card could open and close.

Finally, as soon as the card base was completely adhered it, I went ahead to get the embellishing done over the left side of the card using some die-cutting flowers which I created using a few dies from Simply Perfect Layered Blooms Etched Dies. Last but certainly not least, I’ve also glued down with liquid glue some tiny gold jewels to compliment the shine from the foiling. And, with that being said friends, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Birthday” inspiration card using the newest “Curved Glimmer Border & Sentiments” Glimmer Hot Foil Kit Of The Month Club by Spellbinders.
