Scripted Greetings ┃Thanks Inspiration Card

Happy Monday Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a quick and simple geometric/floral “Thanks” inspiration card made with die cut shapes created using a combination of one of nesting dies including in Essentials: Basic Label Frames Die Set to create the geometric and dimensional layered background + Joyful Bouquet Washi Tape and Joyful Bouquet Stamp Set to create the floral die-cutting touches for the card. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by lining up the dies including in one of the nesting dies from Essentials: Basic Label Frames Die Set to cut out some hexagon shapes out of white cardstock along with one of the patterned paper sheets including in Holiday Magic: 12 x 12 Paper Pack + a scrap piece of cardstock with foiling accents.

Next, as soon as I had got finished cutting the hexagon shapes out of the different cardstock pieces, I’ve gone ahead to put them off to the side. Meanwhile, I went ahead to create small die-cutting floral clusters using Joyful Bouquet Washi Tape and Joyful Bouquet Stamp Set. This step was definitely the easiest as all I did was to unroll the washi roll, tape it down over a large piece of white cardstock and die-cut the images from the washi its coordinating die in the same way, as I’ve had done it before with all Pinkfresh Studio Washi-tape Rolls.

Thus, right after that I’ve got finished die-cutting the floral clusters out of the washi tape, I’ve gone ahead to get the card assembling started. So, to do that, I went ahead to line up over a large piece of white cardstock the largest die including in Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die Set and then, I went ahead to ran them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the frame and to add the stitching details to it.

Moving on, after getting the die-cutting done for the frame, I went ahead to get the backing of it adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2 size top folding white card base. Next, I went ahead to create to create a geometric and dimensional background over the card front panel by glue down some of the hexagon die-cutting shapes with Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue and by mounting some of them with square foam adhesives creating dimension between them, as you can see in the image below.

Once, I got the die-cutting hexagon mounted over the card front panel, I quickly went ahead to get mounted with square foam adhesives the small floral clusters as well. Then, once I had that step completed, I went ahead to mount the layered die-cutting Thanks card sentiment over the right side of the card. A Thanks card sentiment, which I’ve had previously die cut and layered over using the die-cutting word created out of white cardstock, translucent vellum and a piece of foil stamping cardstock that I had left from a previous project using one of the dies including in Scripted Greetings Dies.
NOTE: By the way, you can customize your own foil cardstock by using Pinkfresh Solid Hot Foil Plate + Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform and Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. If you’re into foil stamping the process is basically the same as when you use your hot foil plates. However, instead of using a shaped hot foil plate you’ll be using the solid plate to create a solid hot foil stamping panel which is useful to die cut words out of it just like I did for this example.

Lastly, to embellish the card, I used a hole puncher from my stash that cut out different sizes of hearts along with a piece of cardstock with gold glittery accents. Therefore, to finish the card off I went ahead to glue down the small hearts over some of the hexagon shapes. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this quick and simple geometric/floral “Thanks” inspiration card using products by Pinkfresh Studio.
