Reason To Smile Wreath┃Inspiration Card

Happy Monday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you this “Radiant” extra dimensional wreath inspiration card made using; Reason to Smile Wreath Stamp Set, Reason to Smile Wreath Layering Stencil Set and Reason to Smile Wreath Die by Pinkfresh Studio along with this beautiful set, I’ve also used Essentials: Radiating Background 2 Die to create the white on white radiant effect to the card background and of course PFS- Inks to ink up the wreath. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, to begin with I started creating the wreath so to do that, I went ahead to by place an A2 size white card panel over my Make Art - Stay-tion - 7 Inch. Next, I went ahead to line up stencil #3 from Reason to Smile Wreath Layering Stencil Set over it and then, I secured them both using the magnets from it so I could start the ink blending over it. That said, I’ve gotten the card panel inked up through the stencil using an ink blending with a combination of Grassy Knoll Ink and Ink Olive Ink.

Thus, as soon as I had finished the ink blending for the leaves, I went ahead to line up the stencil #2 and then, I’ve gotten the ink blending through it using Ballet Slipper Ink. Lastly, to finish the ink blending for the wreath, I went ahead to line up stencil #1 and then, I’ve gotten the tips of the flowers ink up using Coral Reef Ink. Once, I had completed the ink blending for the wreath, I went ahead to place the card panel inside my MISTI Stamping Tool to get the stamping process done.

As for the stamping, I went ahead to line up over the inked wreath its coordinating stamp image using the stamp image from Reason to Smile Wreath Stamp Set and then, I went ahead to get the image stamped using embossing ink, because I wanted to get it gold heat embossed. That said, as soon as I had finished with the stamping process, I went ahead to get the heat embossing process done using my heat gun embossing tool along with gold embossing powder.

So, as soon as had finished the heat embossing process, I went ahead to line up over the wreath its coordinating die from Reason to Smile Wreath Die and then, I went ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to die-cut the wreath out of the card panel. Up next, I set the die-cutting wreath aside and then, I went ahead to get the die-cutting process done for the card panel using Essentials: Radiating Background 2 Die along with white cardstock. Plus, the smaller die from Curvy Leaves Die Set to get a few curvy leaves die-cut out of translucent vellum.

Right after that all die-cutting piece were completed, I went ahead to start the card assembling so to do that, I went ahead to get a sentiment heat emboss in the center of the wreath using one of the sentiments from the stamp set. Next, I went ahead to get the backing of the radiant background panel adhered with double-sided tape to an A2 side folding white card base in a landscaping form. Lastly, I went ahead to mount the die-cutting wreath in the center of it using pieces of craft foam adhesive to add a bit of dimension. And, to finish the assembling off, I went ahead to tuck in the die-cutting leaves around the wreath for a fuller look appearance.

NOTE: Even though, I did not use stencil #4 from the set, I’d like to mention, that the stencil set includes a stencil that includes 7 sentiments which, you can perfectly get ink up any of them inside the wreath to create an inked sentiment.

Last but certainly not least, I went ahead to add pop of shine to the card by gluing down here and there with Bearly Art Mini Precision Craft Glue some pink crystal from Essentials: Crystal Mix and some shimmer to the leaves using a Nuvo Aqua Flow - Water Brush. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this “Radiant” extra dimensional wreath inspiration card.
