Pinkfresh Studio April 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil and Hot Foil Release ▏ Blog Hop

Happy Release Day, Crafters! Today, Pinkfresh Studio is celebrating its April 2023 Stamp, Die, Stencil and Hot foil Release with a fabulous blog hop. Therefore, if you’re hopping along with us, welcome, as you should have arrived here from Wanda’s Blog. However, if this is your starting point, I’d like to invite you to start from the → Pinkfresh ‘Blog or by clicking the direct link provided below which will have the list of this blog hop.

So, today I’d like to share a colorful and dimensional set of inspiration cards with a “Rosettes” look showcasing: the just-released Rosettes Die and Rosettes Stencil. Also, Wrap Around Elements Die and Foiled Sentiments 6 to add the cards some metallic gold touches. Besides that, I used Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the stitching details, some Ombre Glitter Drops: Sparkle & Shine to add an extra touch of shine, and last but not least, PFS- Inks to add the pops of colors to the cards. So, without further ado, let me share how I made them. ↓

Therefore, for the first cards, I used the 2-piece stencils included in the Rosettes Stencil along with a combination of the following hues Ballet Slipper InkSparkling Rose InkSweet Mustard InkMarigold InkOcean Breeze Ink, and Mermaid Cove Ink along with some ink blending brushes to create the rosette card background over an A2 size white card panel. Thus, soon after that, I finished the card background over the white card panel; I used the die cut machine, the smaller die included in the Rosettes Dieand Gold cardstock to cut out the center parts for each rosette created over the card panel. Then, after getting them die-cut out from the gold cardstock, I got them glued down with liquid glue to the rosette's centers.

Lastly, to continue with the die-cutting step, I used the large die included in the Essentials: Diagonal Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the diagonal stitching details to the front card panel edges. Then, to keep going, I used one of the foiled sentiments included in the Foiled Sentiments 6 pack to the card’s sentiment on the lower right corner.

Finally, to finish the card off, I added pieces of craft foam adhesive to the backside of the front card panel, and then I peeled off the back side of the craft foam adhesive and got the backing of the card panel mounted to an A2-size top folding white card base.

For the second card, I used the same ink hues that I used in the previous example, but this time, I used each die included in the set to die-cut the rosettes from the cardstock.

To keep the look of the card simple, I also used the same die to add the diagonal stitching details to an A2-size white card panel. Then, to add metallic gold accents, I used one of the dies included in the Wrap Around Elements Die to die-cut the string-looking element from gold cardstock. So, once I had finished die-cutting the metallic gold element, I proceeded to get it glued down with liquid glue to the center of the detailed white card panel.

To continue with the front card panel layering, I added square foam adhesives to the backside of the large rosette to add dimension, and then I've got it mounted over the right side of the front card panel.

Next, I added liquid glue to the backside of the leftover rosettes, and then I got them glued down to the card panel, as shown in the image above.

Lastly, to keep adding extra metallic gold elements to the card, I added a foiled round sentiment to the large rosette to use it as the card sentiment, and then I also used one of the dies included in the Wrap Around Elements Die set to die-cut the dainty bow out of gold cardstock.

Finally, to get the card completed, I got the backside of the front card panel adhered with double-sided adhesive to an A2-size side folding white card base in a landscaping form, and then I’ve got it finished off by gluing down some of the Ombre Glitter Drops: Sparkle & Shine to add the card an extra touch of shine.

With that said, friends, I hope this dimensional and colorful set of cards with a “Rosette” look; inspires you to give the new stamps, dies, stencils, and hot foil sets from this release a try!
