Geometric and Flowers┃Just Because Inspiration Card

Happy Sunday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a glimmering and dainty “Just Because” inspiration card made with a geometric look using: Geo Blocks Hot Foil and Geo Blocks Layering Stencils from the latest January-2022 Stamp, Dies, Stencil & Hot Foil Release by Pinkfresh Studio. Along with this set, I used Just Because Stamp Set and Just Because Die for the floral touch. And of course, PFS- Inks to ink up the butterflies + Metallic Pearls: Sparkling Champagne to add an extra sparkling touch. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by getting the hot foil stamping process done, so to do that, I went ahead to line up the Geo Blocks Hot Foil over my Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform. The platform which I had already on and ready to foil. Having that being said, I proceeded to get the hot foil stamping done over a large piece of white cardstock using my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine along with a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass.

Next, right after that I had finished the hot foil stamping, I’ve gone ahead to ink up the hot foil stamped panel using Geo Blocks Layering Stencils using ink blending brushes along with a combination of Ballet Slipper Ink and Peach Fuzz Ink. Thus, as soon as I’ve got finished inking up the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to trim down the edges of it and then, I’ve got it mounted with craft foam adhesive to add dimension over an A2 size top folding white card base.

Moving on, after getting the card panel mounted over the card base, I’ve gone ahead to set it off to the side, so I could have the stamping down for the floral touch. So, to do that, I used the large floral cluster including in Just Because Stamp Set to get it stamped with embossing in over a large piece of translucent vellum and to get it white heat embossing it as well. Also, I used Just Because Die to cut it out from the translucent vellum, and then I’ve got it mounted to the card. As, for the card sentiment, I used two of the sentiments including in the stamp set to get them stamped and gold heat embossing over a small piece of white cardstock. Lastly, I finished the card off by mounting the card sentiment with craft foam adhesives to add more dimension and then, I glued down here and there some of the Metallic Pearls: Sparkling Champagne to add an extra sparkling touch to it.

And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this glimmering and dainty “Just Because” inspiration card using products by Pinkfresh Studio.
