Dimensional & Textured - Thank You┃Inspiration Card

Happy Thursday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you a Thank You inspiration card made with a “Dimensional & Textured Floral” look using: Happy Dance Stamp, Happy Dance Stencils, and Happy Dance Die from the just released AUGUST-2022 Stamp, Die, Stencil, & Hot Foil Release by Pinkfresh Studio. Also, along with this set, I used Layered Sunburst Stencil Set and lastly, PFS- Inks to ink up the dainty floral image. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by getting the stamping done for the floral image using the floral stamp image included in Happy Dance Stamp along with my MISTI Mini Stamp Tool, an A2 size white card panel, Magic Powder Bag, and Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink. Next, after getting the stamping step completed, I proceeded to get the stamped image heat embossing by adding Wow Embossing Powder Gold Pearl over it and by getting it heat embossed using my Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool.

Thus, after getting the stamping and heat embossing step done for the floral image, I went ahead to use the coordinating stencils included in Happy Dance Stencils along with some ink blending brushes and the following color inks: Lemon whip Ink, Marigold Ink, and Persimmon Ink for the yellow flowers. Also, Sky Blue Ink and Blue Jay Ink for the blue flowers and of course, Fresh Pear Ink and Key Lime Ink for the leaves.

Once, I had finished the layered stenciling process completed, I went ahead to use Happy Dance Die along with my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine to cut out the floral cluster from the card panel. That being said, after getting the die-cutting step completed, I went ahead to put the floral piece aside while, I proceeded to create the card background.

As for the layered stenciling card panel, I used Layered Sunburst Stencil Set along with Misty Coast Ink to ink up stencil #1 and #2 + Liquitex Basics Light Modeling Paste and Crystal Diamond Glitter to add a glittery texture when using stencil #3. By the way, I used one of palette knife from Viva Decor 3-Piece Palette Knife Set (white version) set to add the molding paste to the card panel through the stencil. So, as soon as, I had finished adding the glittery texture, I let the card panel dry overnight and then, the next day, I used my Paper Trimmer to trim down 1/4 of an inch from each side of the card panel and then, I got the card assembling started.

For the card assembling, I went ahead to get the backing of the glittery and textured front card panel to an A2 size top folding white card base. Next, I added dimension to the floral cluster by layering extra plain white die-cutting pieces under the actual die-cutting floral cluster and then, I got it gluing down to the front card panel. Lastly, to finish the card off, I went ahead to add two card sentiment to it; sentiments which, I had gotten previously stamped, and heat emboss them on pieces of white cardstock using the same embossing powder hue that I used for the floral cluster. By the way, both sentiments are included in the same stamp set however, one of them has a coordinating die while the other does not.

Finally, after adding both card sentiments to the card, I decided to skip any extra embellishments because, I wanted the glittery and textured background + the shiny and dimensional effect from the heat embossing step pop up by themselves. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this Thank You inspiration card with a “Dimensional & Textured Floral” look using products by Pinkfresh Studio.
