Geometrical & Floral with Hot Foil Stamping┃Inspiration Card

Happy Wednesday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’d like to share with you an extra glimmering “Geometric & Floral” inspiration card made using: Nested Diamonds Hot Foil, Nested Diamonds Die, Dahlia Washi, Dahlia Washi Die, and Dahlia Washi Stamp from March-2022 Washi, Stamp, Die, Stencil & Hot Foil Release by Pinkfresh Studio. Along with these sets, I’ve also used Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die Set to add the decorative stitching details to the card front panel and Metallic Pearls -Gold to add an extra pop of sparkle to the card. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made it ↓

Therefore, I started off by getting the die-cutting done for the front card panel, so to do that, I went ahead to line up the largest die included in Blanket Stitched Rectangles Die Set and then, I proceeded to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Next, after I’ve had finished adding the stitched detail to the front card panel, I went ahead to line up right in the center of it the second larger diamond die included in Nested Diamonds Die set to cut out the diamond shape from it.

By the way, I’d like to mention that this card is a very dimensional and has many layers thus having that said, I went ahead to line up the third diamond die from the set over a second white card panel to create a second layer. Once, I had the second layer cut out, I went ahead to line up the next size diamond die over another white card panel and then, I proceeded to run them through the die cut machine.

Thus, to start the card base assembling, I went ahead to adhered down with double-sided adhesive the backing of the card panel with the smaller diamond shape over an A2 top folding white card base. Next, I went ahead to get the backing of the second card panel adhered with the medium diamond shape over the card base using thin craft foam adhesive to start adding dimension to the card. Then, in the same way, as I did with the last panel, I went ahead to get the last panel adhered over the card base to add a little extra dimension to it.

Moving on, after getting the assembling done for the card base, I went ahead to put it off to the side so, I could go ahead to cut out the floral die-cut shapes using Dahlia Washi, Dahlia Washi Die, and Dahlia Washi Stamp. As, you know, this step is definitely the easiest part, as all I needed to do was to unroll the washi roll, tape it down over a large piece of white cardstock and die-cut the images out from the washi with its coordinating die in the same way, as I’ve have done it before with all Pinkfresh Studio Washi-tape Rolls.

Having that said, as soon as, I’ve had finished die-cutting the floral shape images out from the cardstock panel, I went ahead to glue down with liquid glue the largest floral shape from all to the left side of the diamond shape over the card. Then, to add the last dimensional layer to it, I went ahead to do some hot foil stamping over a large piece of white cardstock using the largest hot foil plate included in Nested Diamonds Hot Foil along with a piece of Glimmer Hot Foil Roll - Polished Brass and the Glimmer Hot Foil System Platform for the hot foil stamping process.

Lastly, after getting the hot foil stamping completed for the diamond shape, I went ahead to use the two large diamond dies included in the coordinating die set to cut out the hot foil stamped frame from the cardstock. Nevertheless, as soon as, I’ve had finished cutting the diamond frame from it, I went ahead to get the backing of it mounted over the diamond shape window created on the card. Having that said, to finish the card off, I went ahead to create a small cluster using some of the die-cutting floral shapes and then, I’ve got them mounted over the frame. Also, I’ve got mounted the card sentiment to the right side of the diamond frame.

A card sentiment which, I’ve got stamped with VersaMark Ink Pad and then, heat embossing with Metallic Embossing Powder- Gilded and Wow Embossing Powder Dual Speed Heat Tool over a small piece of white cardstock. as for the sentiment, I used one of the sentiments included in Dahlia Washi Stamp. Then, as a finishing touch, I went ahead to use my Jewels Picker and Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to glue down here and there some of Metallic Pearls -Gold to add an extra pop of sparkle to it. And, with that being said friends, I hope that you’ve enjoyed reading the step-by-step for how I’ve made this extra glimmering “Geometric & Floral” inspiration card using, products by Pinkfresh Studio.
