Beauty Comes from Within Card

Beauty Comes from Within Card

Hello Friends!! I am so Happy to have you back here on my Blog! On today's blog I would love to share with you the 3rd Mermaid Card that I have created out of the September Card Kit by Simon Says Stamp. For this card, I created a glittery card panel by using the Aqua Glitter Cardstock that came with the kit and a background die. So let's get started!

Die Cutting

To begin with, I started by die cutting with a die cutting machine the Aqua Glitter cardstock and the Snow Drifts Cover Up Die by MFTS creating the ocean waves for the card panel. Once, the die cutting was done I set it aside and I started the stamping.

Stamping

For the stamping, I started by stamping in a piece of Neenah Classic Crest 80lb Solar White with Black Ink one of the Mermaids from the Beautiful Mermaids stamp set. Also, I used the coordinated dies for the die cutting. After, the die cutting. I started the coloring.

Coloring

T2, T4, T6, T8

Layout

For the card layout, I started by adhering just the inside pieces from the die cutting background with liquid glue directly on the card  base. (And, of course, I saved the leftover frame for another card in the future.) Then, I adhered the backed of the Mermaid with foam and the backed of the corals with liquid glue to the card. Last but not least, I stamped one of the sentiments in a pieces of white cardstock.

Your imagination is Your limit.

I hope you get Inspired and give this design a try! Just keep in mind, that you can recreate the same design with any combination of color media, stamps sets, background dies or stencils.

Thank You, your time is valuable. Don't forget to spread kindness, Today and Always.
Best,
Yasmin
