Baby Girl┃Inspiration Cards

Happy Friday, Friends! On today’s blog, I’m excited to share with you this sweet set of “Baby Girl” inspiration cards which I made to gift to a Mom-to-be. So, without further ado let’s jump right into the step-by-step for how I made them ↓

To begin with, I started off by lining up over an A2 size white card panel the awesome Rainbow Arch Stencil by The Stamp Market. Therefore, once I’ve had gotten it line up over the card panel, I’ve gone ahead to start the ink blending over the large rainbow arch section using, and ink blending brush along with Cotton Candy Ink.

Thus, as soon as I’ve finished the ink blending for the first section, I’ve gone ahead to continue the ink blending for the second section of the rainbow arch using, Melon Orange Ink. And so on and so forth, I continued the ink blending using Citrine Ink for the third section and Curry Ink for the last section from it.

Once, I’ve had finished the ink blending for the rainbow arch, I’ve gone ahead to set the card panel off to the side so I could start off the die-cutting and stamping for the card. So, I went ahead to line up the cloud dies included in Sweetest Dream Dies over pieces of white and gold cardstock and, as soon as I had them line up, I’ve gone ahead to run them through my Platinum 6 Die Cutting and Embossing Machine.

So, after having a few die-cutting clouds cut, I went ahead to stack a white and a gold cloud together to add a gold border to each of it. Therefore, after I’ve had finished doing that step, I’ve gone ahead to glue down 2 stacked clouds with liquid glue and then, I’ve also gotten mounted 3 of them with square foam adhesives (as shown in the images above) to add dimension to the card. Then right after that, I went ahead to mount the moon which I’ve had previously stamped using Lemon Whip Ink and the stamp images including in Sweetest Dream Stamp.

Lastly, from the same stamp set I also used the small group of stars stamp image to get them stamp and gold heat embossing on both corners of the card panel. Nonetheless, I stamped, and gold heat emboss over a white strip of cardstock one of the sentiments from the stamp set which, right afterwards, I’ve gotten mounted in between the clouds. Then, to finish the card off, I went ahead to trim off the edges from the card panel and I’ve gotten it mounted with craft foam tape to add dimension over an A2 top folding white card base. last but not least, as a finishing touch, I went ahead to glue down here and there with liquid glue a few crystal confetti sequins to add an extra pop of shine!

So, after finishing the Welcome Baby card inspiration, I came out with the idea to make a card as well to congratulate her Mom therefore, I used the same stencil however, I went ahead to flip it over to ink up the rainbow arch in a mirrored way so the rainbow arch could be facing to the right side of the card instead.

Having that said, for the rainbow arch ink blending, I kept it quite simple by using the same color ink combination in the same way as I used them in the previous example.

Then, as the focal point instead of using the cloud and moon dies, I used the outlined and solid floral dies from Flirtatious Flowers Dies and Flirtatious Flowers Outline Dies along with TSM Color Cardstock.

So, I made a delicate floral cluster arrangement with the die-cutting flowers and leaves and then, I went ahead to get it mounted (as shown in the image above)

Last but certainly not least, I finished the card off by mounting a layered sentiment which I’ve had previously stamp, heat emboss on piece of white cardstock and layered over another piece of gold cardstock. Then, as a finishing touch, I also glued down here and there with liquid glue some of the Crystal Confetti to compliment the shine on today’s matching cards.
